Om, after studying the Vedas, the teacher imparts education to the student.
सत्यं वद | धर्मं चर | स्वाध्यायान्मा प्रमदः | आचार्याय प्रियं धनमाह्रत्य प्रजातन्तुं मा व्यवच्छेत्सीः | सत्यान्न प्रमदितव्यम् | धर्मान्न प्रमदितव्यम् | कुशलान्न प्रमदितव्यम् | भूत्यै न प्रमदितव्यम् | स्वाध्याय प्रवचनाभ्यां न प्रमदितव्यम् | देवपित्रकार्याभ्यां न प्रमदितव्यम् |
The teacher says:
- Speak the truth: Always speak the truth , as truth is of utmost importance. Speaking the truth is not only a matter of morality but also the foundation of trust and honesty in life.
- Follow dharma: Dharma means righteous conduct and morality. Following dharma means behaving in the right and proper manner in life and treating others well.
- Do not be lazy in self-study: Self-study means increasing your own knowledge. one should never be lazy in this. Regular studies and self-knowledge provide the right direction in life.
- Give beloved wealth to the teacher and maintain the continuity of the family: Please your teacher by giving them appropriate offerings and continue your family lineage. This is the symbol of respect and gratitude, strengthening the relationship between the teacher and the student.
- Do not deviate from the truth: Never move away from the truth. Truth is the foundation of our lives.
- Do not deviate from dharma: Always follow and never stray from it. Righteous conduct and morality guide us to live a meaningful and ethical life.
- Do not deviate from skill: Skill means competence and efficiency . Never let there be a lack of it. Constantly strive to improve and maintain your skills .
- Do not deviate from prosperity: Prosperity means progress and development. Maintain it. Prosperity and growth lead to a fulfilling and successful life.
- Do not be lazy in teaching: Never be lazy in studying and sharing knowledge. Continuous learning and teaching are essential for personal growth and the betterment of society.

- Treat your mother as a deity: Respect your mother like a deity. Mothers play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding us.
- Treat your father as a deity: Respect your father like a deity. fathers provide support, guidance, and protection.
- Treat your teacher as a deity: Respect your teacher like a deity. Teachers impart wisdom and knowledge , shaping our lives.
- Treat your guest as a deity: Respect your guest like a deity. Guests should be treated with honor and hospitality.
Perform only those actions that are auspicious and beneficial, and not for any other purpose. Dedicate all your good deeds to the divine. Those who have attained the highest state of consciousness are seated in the lap of the divine.
Offer everything with:
- Faith ( Shraddhaya)
- Prosperity (Shriya)
- Modesty (Hriya)
- Reverence (Bhiya)
- Knowledge (Samvida)

Adopt pure and righteous actions and avoid others. Follow the good conduct and moral principles taught by your elders and teachers. If ever a doubt about a particular action or conduct:
- Consult the wise brahmins: Seek advice from knowledgeable, wise, truthful, and righteous Brahmins. Follow their conduct and advice.
एष आदेशः | एष उपदेशः | एषाः वेदोपनिषत् | एतदनुशासनम् | एवमुपासितव्यम् | एवमु चैतदुपास्यम् |
This is the order, this is the teaching, this is the Vedic instruction, and this is the discipline. It should be followed and explained.
